Fall Summit 2009

The CM Pros Fall Summit 2009 was held in Boston on December 1st, in conjunction with the Gilbane Conference.

Morning Workshop: Open Source Products and Standards and the Impact on Information Management

Afternoon Workshop: Content Migration - the Dirty Little Secret of Content Management

During the afternoon workshop, we took on one of the most critical, complex, and widely overlooked steps of content management implementations. Participants came away with a clear picture of the severity of not planning for content migration and a definitive plan on how to tackle the problem. Thanks to Andy Striemer and Chad Miller of Robert Half International, Inc. and Gerrit Berkouwer, Dutch Ministry of General Affairs/Government Information Service for their case studies and to Matt Samsonoff, Quoin for his presentation on Tactical Planning
